Over time we have seen the progress of science and technology, which can be related directly to physical phenomena, so as future mechanical engineer I keep my attention in the use of energy in relation to the work to be performed, where it is necessary to know the force to be applied to the object and whether it should be constant or not. As we know energy is the ability to do a job, and work is the product of a force applied in a certain direction that causes a body to move or shift from one place to another. As work principle, we must say that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it just becomes different types of energy. For this reason, for a body to move must be a force that push and the force required for energy.
Energy is the source providing lighting, heating, cooling, motion motors, etc. In physics we see energy as an abstract magnitude that is attached to a dynamic state and / or motion in a system that remains in that state indefinitely. Due to a number of properties we can say that energy is present in all bodies and can understand that this is like a not very well defined natural resource, which can be classified as renewable and nonrenewable. Among the best known energies are: hydropower, electricity, wind, potential and kinetic. Where for example, hydraulic power, is based on dropping a large amount of water from a height to make the potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and the water begins to pass through some turbines at high speed to cause a rotation that causes generation of electrical energy through rotator. As we can see the energies combine many times to get the results you expect.
Although most of the energies are not indispensable to man, somehow they have become inseparable, and we would lose comforts to which we are so used, and in some cases have been depleting such as oil and coal. It is for this reason that there is the law of conservation of energy which states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only I could change from one form to another, transforming, becoming an irreversible process according to scientists, but we it leaves the question will there be some process you succeed? or at least have you can reverse the process or the use of energy, so we get a similar result to the original?
It would be an extraordinary opportunity to do so, since the experience and get an unwanted result, could again use the initial product. What for an engineer would be a huge advance. However, as this is discovered or achieved, energy sources must be protected or at least we should use them responsibly to avoid exhaustion.
Good energy is extremely important for humans, as it helps us in our social functioning. In the case of the mechanical energy is the sum of the kinetic and potential energy, analyzes the motion and rest of bodies, and its evolution over time, under the action of forces involved a force that we have not taken into account, the frictional force, which is always negative. If the friction force, mechanical energy decreases and the work of these forces is equal to the variation of mechanical energy of the system. So we must take into account that the machines are devices or set pieces that transform forces and at the same time, get any of the following effects: variation in the intensity of transmitting forces; change in the direction they have; and transformation of one type of energy to another. The theorem of conservation of mechanical energy states that the work done on a body is reversed, exactly, to increase some energy.
When only conservative forces in a system: mechanical energy remains constant. So unfortunately, we see that the mechanical energy is not conserved. Since this is a situation that scientists should be analyzed to determine whether there is a likelihood of preservation, and thus achieve better use of energy and it is not lost when being over. At the end we realize how important energy and its role is. The energy has features that allow us to have a comfortable lifestyle. Some energy is better used than others, and if she any physical, chemical or biological process would be possible.
